"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did do." - Mark Twain
The Catholic Feminist Pilgrimage is a one-of-a-kind trip taking place this October. Remaining seats are limited and I don’t want you to miss your chance!
“But I could never go on pilgrimage.”
—> “I can’t afford it.”
—> “I can’t take that much time off work.”
—> “I can’t leave my kids.”
I thought all of those things + more when I was asked to lead this trip. I have three little ones, my own business, and a sliiiiight fear of international travel.
But then Jesus. (Isn’t that always the story?!)
I’m not asking you to willy-nilly plunk down a deposit and book a plane ticket. I’m asking you to pray and ask God if this is the right opportunity for you. Right now—just a one minute prayer. Christ, is this an invitation from you? If the answer’s yes, I want you to consider it + trust that He will make the pieces fall into place. If the answer’s no…then I know you’ll be with us in spirit!
Jesus literally rose from the dead, y’all. He can help you find childcare. 😂
When I put together the speakers list for this trip, I knew I wanted a group of women who weren’t your typical women’s retreat line up. I wanted women from all different walks of life with different experiences, passions, and ministries. I fully believe we achieved that with Kathryn Whitaker, Leah Jacobson, Chika Anyanwu, and Shannon Ochoa. (And let’s not forget, we’re also traveling with two amazing priests AND Catholic musician Danielle Noonan!) We’re skipping the usual guard-your-heart stuff. Nobody’s going to ask you to do a craft or a trust fall. We ARE going to ask you to come with an open heart, an open mind, and a heart on fire for faithful feminism.

Picture it, y’all: you, me, and 50 of your newest besties. Sipping wine, getting the sacraments, praising and worshiping and conversing and discipling. After a year of staying inside, I’m ready to travel and see sweet faces in person. And I KNOW you are too! There’s nothing like NOT being able to go places that reminds us how beautiful, physical, and TANGIBLE our faith is. Zoom is fine, but wandering through Lisieux just can’t be beat. Amen?
Questions? I’m sure you’ve got ‘em. We’re on standby to answer anything you’ve got—just hit reply and let me know! Better yet, attend our Ask Me Anything call! Myself + a representative from Select will be standing by to answer ALL of your questions tomorrow at 1:00 PM CST over Zoom. Join us here at 1:00 PM CST on Thursday, the 24th!
COVID precautions: At this time, the nation of France IS requiring a vaccine for anyone entering from the US. If that changes, you’ll be the first to know. But on a good note: the country is currently fully open, meaning we’ll be able to experience the fullness of our itinerary with fewer crowds—woot!
See you in October!
St. Therese, pray for us.
In Him Through Her,
Claire
