Franciscan University and rape culture in action

I didn’t really want to write about Franciscan.

Not because I fear the opinions of others; I’ve been hated on the internet for years and I’m perfectly fine with that. Not because I fear the opinion of the university; I’m not connected to them at all and besides one short-term sponsorship a few years back, never have been. Not because I have any desire to go there or speak there or anything like that, and not because I fear making powerful people in Catholic Land angry. I don’t.

But because people I love love Franciscan, and I’m a human being, and that just makes it hard to talk about.
