This is SO COOL! Ugh, I wish I could go - not realistic right now as weβre cutting back on spending so I can step away from my crazy lawyer job, but I absolutely LOVE this! The South of France is so gorgeous. I hope there will be another in a year or two, weβll see π₯°
So excited! Hope to go. This may be a silly question, but I always thought that Mary Magdalene and Mary of Bethany, sister of Martha and Lazarus, were different women.
From what I understand the Church says you can believe either but this book makes the claim they were the same woman - I found it to be an amazing read!!
This sounds so lovely! And my full name is Magdalena, so it definitely feels like a sign! October is a while away, and Iβve got quite a bit going on in between (mainly law school graduation and bar exam), but if I could find the means to go, oh man that would be so cool! Congratulations on planning what is sure to be another fantastic pilgrimage!
This sounds SO lovely but alas Iβm an academic and this starts the week out fall break ends. So, not this timeβ¦ is your aim to do a pilgrimage every other year? Because I will totally schedule my next sabbatical to coincide with it.
I am very seriously considering this for my daughter (18) and myself! My dumb questions are: will we be able to room together? And...Details indicate airfare from Chicago or Newark...I assume that means we will need to arrange travel to one of those locations that will coincide with specific trip departure?
Amazing--LOVE a mother/daughter pair! My mom is coming and my sister might be too!!!! Yes, you would definitely room together. And your options would be to get to Chicago or Newark, OR you could book land-only packages and find your own flights to Marseille--that might be more cost effective, depending where you're coming from.

There is a lot of debate around that--it's not a settled issue! I've been learning a ton about it!
Very interesting!
